Dwarf Sun Flowers are really growing!

These Dwarf Sunspot sunflowers are growing up quickly!

My small indoor greenhouse

Here is the greenhouse with the panel door closed.

Here is a closeup of the latch to keep it tightly closed.

This is what it looks like with the panel door open, it fits snugly against the wall on the left which keeps it in place above the greenhouse.

So here's the photo showing the plants inside. To the left the Dwarf Sunflowers, in the middle the Roma tomatoes, on the right the beefsteak tomatoes.

This shows the mechanism to raise or lower the lights - by moving the rope up and down, attaching the knot in the rope to the hook, the rope will raise or lower the ring that holds the chain. The ring that joins them slides along the rope to center the lights.

Roma Tomatoes have sprouted

Yes, the Roma's have now sprouted, so everything that I started from seed are now out from behind the fridge and down in the small indoor green house. I'll take a photo of the green house for my next post.

Beefsteak Tomatoes sprout

Sorry for the blurriness, my camera's flash isn't the only problem any longer - now it doesn't take pictures at all. This I took with my son's very simple 5MP Photosmart E327. I guess I need to be more still when using his camera.

Dwarf Sun Flowers have sprouted

So it took four days for these to sprout, two out of three means I move them from behind the fridge (where the heat helps to germinate them) and into my small indoor greenhouse.

Garlic has sprouted

Last fall was the first time I planted Garlic, here are the first buds coming up. I think I planted 18 cloves and already I see 9 buds. You plant the cloves in the fall and the following late July or early August you harvest full bulbs.

First seeds planted

The left three are the Dwarf Sun Flowers, the middle six are the Roma Tomatoes, the right six are the Beefsteak Tomatoes. The image is a little dark because the flash on my camera wasn't working.
